Caroline est cinéaste d’animation et artiste multidisciplinaire canadien·ne, situé·e à Tiohtià:ke (Montréal). Depuis 2013, ses courts métrages ont été présentés dans plus d’une cinquantaine de festivals internationaux et de centres d’arts, notamment en France, en Suède, en Australie, en Allemagne et aux États-Unis, ainsi que sur les plateformes de diffusion en continu tou.tv, CBC Gem et Air Canada.

Formé·e en cinéma et design graphique, iel a développé une pratique autodidacte en animation. Avec humour et légèreté, son art vise à sublimer les questions existentielles qui nous habitent, pour apprivoiser le monde dans lequel nous vivons de manière apaisée et émerveillée. L’environnement épuré de ses récits visuels permet l’introspection du public, l’invitant à y projeter sa propre interprétation et à y découvrir, comme en miroir, sa vérité intime.

Iel reste connecté·e et engagé·e avec sa communauté artistique à travers des rencontres et des conversations réflexives sur la vie d’artiste.

Caroline is a Canadian animation filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist based in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal). Since 2013, their short films have been shown in more than 50 international festivals and arts centres, notably in France, Sweden, Australia, Germany and the US, as well as on the streaming platforms tou.tv, CBC Gem and Air Canada.

Trained in cinema and graphic design, they have developed a self-taught practice in animation. With humour and lightness, their art aims to sublimate the existential questions that inhabit us, inviting us to embrace the world with serenity and wonder. Their minimalist visual narratives foster introspection in the viewer, inviting them to project their own interpretation, allowing their truth to be revealed.

They remain connected and engaged with their artistic community through encounters and reflective conversations about artist life.
